Student Ambassadors (on campus opportunity)

The Campus Life Team are looking to recruit up to 40 Student Ambassadors to assist with the delivery of the September 2017 Welcome Programme, and assist with various events and activities throughout the year.

During the September Welcome period Ambassadors will manage the on-campus Welcome Desk, and assist with various events and activities. During Registration and throughout term-time, the purpose of this post is to provide first point of contact support to all student enquirers at the Campus Life Desk. The post holder will be key to delivering services that meet student and staff needs whilst ensuring that student satisfaction in the area of general welfare support and delivery is consistently excellent.

The post will also assist with the organisation of student events hosted within the Campus Life Lounge throughout the year.

Main purpose of role:

To assist with the delivery of September 2017 Welcome Programme, student events and deal with enquiries at the GCU Campus Life Desk.

Working as a Student Ambassador will allow you to play an active role in the University, develop skills to improve your future employment prospects and meet and work with other GCU students from a variety of disciplines. The role also offers you the opportunity to earn money in a part-time job with the flexibility to fit around your studies.

Rate of pay: £8.45 per hour
