Careerwise is now open for applications for summer 2017 – a scheme that offers paid work placements exclusively for women studying STEM subjects at Scottish Universities.

Thirteen organisations have signed up to Careerwise, offering a total of 29 paid work placements during summer 2017. This is a great way for women to gain valuable work experience in key STEM industries where they are under represented.

Visit the Equate Scotland website for eligibility criteria and for more details. It’s easy to apply – all you need to do is complete the online application form, attach a cover letter and CV, and hit submit!

Organisations providing placements include: Mercury Engineering; AECOM; KP Technology; CAS; Midlothian Council; University of Edinburgh; Leonardo; Sestran; Exterity; Marine Scotland; Edinburgh Napier University; and Peacock Technologies.
