Career conversation into…. IAESTE UK – paid internships abroad for STEM students, including Life Sciences, Economy and Finance 

The British Council, the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities are coming to GCU to talk to students about their IAESTE programme.

IAESTE (The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience), provides cutting edge work experience for students in over 80 countries worldwide. Since 1948, over 350,000 have taken part in the programme, have learnt new skills, have been exposed to a variety of cultures and have had the opportunity to build a global network of friends.

IAESTE has also played a key role in the workplace and in academic circles, helping to develop and train engineers and scientists capable of making their mark in a global economy.

British Council manages IAESTE UK with support from Scottish Government, Welsh Government and Department of Education Northern Ireland.

To find out more about the programme, come along to the event on Wednesday, 11th of November, 1pm to 3pm on Level 1 of the Saltire Centre.
