Where: Level 1, Saltire Centre
Time: 12:00 – 14:00

Career conversation into a Saltire Foundation internship.

Founded and nurtured by the GlobalScot network, the Saltire Foundation is a registered, independent Scottish charity whose mission is to find, fuel and spark the next generation of business leaders in Scotland.

The Saltire Foundation are coming in to GCU on Thursday, the 29th of October to talk to students about their scholar programme for 2016. The Saltire Scholar Programme provides life-changing opportunities  and next summer you could be joining more than 150 Scholars working with some of the world’s most successful firms; from entrepreneurial start-ups to global corporates from Glasgow to San Francisco and Singapore.

The team are looking for ambitious students like you with a passion for Scotland and the skills to make an impact at your host company. They have a diverse range of placement opportunities and host companies so whether you’re studying Anthropology, Physics, Marketing or Computer Programming they can find a placement to suit you.

As a potential Scholar the only criteria you must meet is being a penultimate year undergraduate student at a Scottish university.  The Saltire  team recognise that academic merit is not the only way to identify talent. Their straight-forward application process takes a holistic view of every potential Scholar: what are you passionate about?, where do your interests lie?, what do you want to do in your future?

Representatives from the foundation will be available on Level 1 of the Saltire Centre. Come along for an informal chat about the opportunities presented by the Saltire Foundation 2016 Scholar Programme.
