Police Scotland Campus Visit

04/02/2015

Police Scotland are coming to GCU on Friday, the 6th of March 2015 for a two-part event.

Have you ever considered a career in the Police Force?

Police Scotland are interested in receiving applications from people of all walks of life, aged 18 or over and ordinarily resident in the UK.
Being a police officer can be a challenging and unpredictable job – leaving for your daily patrol, there’s no knowing what you might encounter – but it’s also rewarding like no other. As a part of Police Scotland you’ll actively make life safer and more secure for everyone around you. And nothing is more important than that.

Police Scotland are looking forward to meeting GCU students potentially interested in a career with them, to talk about how they can make a difference in the community, face new challenges effectively and develop new skills as part of their organisation.  The visit will consists of two parts:

  • Career Conversation Drop-In Session: 11:30am – 1pm on Level 1 of the Saltire Centre
  • Presentation/Workshop: 1:15pm – 2:15pm in A426 * Please note the change of venue (this event will no longer be taking place in Events Space 1 of the Saltire Centre)

The career convetrsation is a drop-in event, so there is no need to sign up. Those interested in the presentation, however, should book a place now on our Vacancies and Events Service.
