Mountbatten Institute Campus Visit

13/01/2015

International experience is highly regarded by today’s employers. Through internships complemented by study in an intensive one-year programme, the Mountbatten Institute equips young professionals with the diversity of skills necessary to top an increasingly competitive labour market.

With 300 internships per year, positions are available in HR, Marketing, Accounting, Banking, Legal, Operations, Project Management and more at world-class organisations including, but not limited to, JP Morgan Chase, Citi, British Airways, UBS, RBS, Blackrock, Barclays, BAML, Credit Suisse, Liquidnet and Thomson Reuters.

Interns are provided with full accommodation, course materials and insurance to support them in this intensive year abroad. They are paid an allowance to make the most of their NYC experience.

With a year in New York and work experience from a top-class company on their CV, 97% of Mountbatten graduates are employed within 6 months and 95% say their experience positively impacted their career.

Mountbatten Institute will be coming in on the 18th of February 2015 for a two-part event with GCU students to talk about their intership recruitment programme.

The visit will consist of:

  • Career conversation: 12noon – 1pm at Level 1, Saltire Centre
  • Presentation: 1:15pm – 2:15pm at Events Space 1, Careers Service, Level 0, Saltire Centre

The careers convetrsation is a drop-in event, so there is no need to sign up. Those interested in the presentation, however, should book a place now on our Vacancies and Events Service.
