More Career Conversations at GCU coming up! IBM, Morgan Stanley & Camp Leaders

28/10/2014

Our successful Career Conversations series continues with three more recruiters taking part over the next two weeks – each of these three informal sessions will take place on the sofas on Level 0 of the Saltire Centre. There’s no need to pre-book, just turn up and meet the recruiters!:

Morgan Stanley:

When: Thursday 30th October 2014

Time: 11am – 2pm

Morgan Stanley (large Investment Banking group) will be hosting another session for students who are keen to work for the company. Come along for an informal chat with representatives from Operations and find out about opportunities in this area.

3rd & 4th year students from any discipline, and Business students with a mandatory industrial placement next year are particularly welcome to attend.

Camp Leaders:

When: Tuesday 4th November 2014

Time: 1pm – 2pm

All students are invited to attend this session, especially those from education, media, sports, childcare and events disciplines. Camp Leaders is a Summer Camp Organisation/Youth Travel Provider. If you’re interested in working for the summer in American camps, come along for an informal chat and find out everything you need to know.

IBM:

When: Friday 7th November 2014

Time: 12:30pm -2:30pm

IBM is a large Consulting and IT business, and Kamila from IBM will be available for an informal chat in the sofa area, Level 0 of the Saltire Centre, about graduate and placement opportunities within the company. This informal session is aimed at 2nd year students intending to do a placement and 3rd & 4th year students thinking about graduate opportunities. Business related disciplines are preferable.

Come along for an informal chat and:

  • Find out what IBM is about
  • Ask me about my experience of IBM based on my placement year and my first months in a graduate role
  • Ask about recruitment process

2nd, 3rd & 4th year students either thinking about a placement or graduate opportunities should find these informal sessions informative.

Remember – there’s no need to pre-book to attend these informal sessions, just turn up!
