Going to the Scottish Graduate Recruitment Fair? Then come to one of our ‘Prepare For The Fair’ sessions!

03/10/2014

The Scottish Graduate Fair is being held in the SECC, Glasgow, on 22nd and 23rd October 2014. It’s Scotland’s biggest graduate and internship recruitment event with over 100 employers in attendance (a free bus will be running to & from the Fair from GCU throughout both days, check our website for more details)

An important part of career development planning is the opportunity to meet with employers to find out about graduate opportunities and recruitment processes. Some employers at the Fair will have definite vacancies, while other professional organisations will also be in attendance. You may also get the chance to talk informally to recent graduates who are often on the stands and find out from them about graduate programmes and recruitment processes. For more information about the Scottish Graduate Fair click here

Who should attend the Fair?

All current students who are looking for a placement or graduate level job, and recent graduates.

To help you make the most of the Scottish Graduate Fair we are organising three ‘Prepare for the Fair’ information sessions:

  • Wednesday 8th October: 10-11am
  • Thursday 9th October: 12-1pm & 1-2pm

Each of these sessions will take place in Events Space 1 on Level 0 of The Saltire Centre (behind the café). The sessions will help you:

  • Develop the networking skills you need to impress at a Fair
  • Talk confidently to employers & professional bodies

To attend any of these sessions click here (if you have not already registered with the Careers Service, you will have to click on the REGISTER NOW button and then register for the event).

Come along and find out how to make the right impression when you go to the Fair!
