Graduate Vacancy (immediate start): U-Hatch Galvaniser

U-Hatch is an exciting new addition to GCU – breaking down the myths about starting a business, engaging and enabling our students to imagine the impossible and creating an environment to make it a reality. U-hatch will bring together experts from GCU and successful entrepreneurs to support our students to achieve their ambitions.

If you want to play a key role in hatching the next generation of exciting new businesses – we want to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

  • Welcome students, staff and businesses into U-Hatch
  • Signpost information
  • Arrange appointments
  • Work with the U-hatch team on event delivery
  • Be an ambassador for U-Hatch at external events
  • Help to create an exciting environment and entrepreneurial spirit

Hours are 9am – 5pm but additional out of hours may be required.

The post will start in early February and is most suited to a recent ambitious graduate.

Person requirements:

What we need you to be:

  • Motivated, enthusiastic and self-starting
  • Able to speak to people at all levels
  • Passionate for supporting entrepreneurship
  • Can-do and positive thinker
  • Top class in IT skills and social media

Working hours: Full-time

Contract: Fixed term

Duration: 6 months
