Careers fair for the Renewable Energy Sector: Thursday 1st November

This Careers Fair will form part of the public open day activities and is free to attend. Please note those wishing to attend the Careers Fair or the public open day still need to pre-register online. Last years Careers Fair was attended by over 1000 people. Gain guidance on career entry points, pathways, training, and re-skilling opportunities that can help you get on the career ladder in the renewable energy sector.

The range of employment opportunities within the wind and marine energy industries is extremeley diverse. Recruits of different backgrounds are in demand in consultation, planning and development, construction, operation and maintenance, technical, financial, legal, retail services, and design work. Who can attend? People with core transferable skills considering a change of career; graduates including MSc students, PhD students specialising in a wind and marine energy related field, and anyone interested working in the renewable energy sector.

Free sessions for members of the public and those seeking a career in renewables. Speakers will provide insight and guidance on starting a career in renewables, career pathways and opportunities, and choosing the right education and training opportunities, for your future career in the sector.
