Exciting Summer Opportunity – Summer Camp Counselors

The International Summer School of Scotland (ISSOS) offers high school students from all over the world (aged 13-18) the unique opportunity to combine learning, creative enrichment and action-packed adventure in the historic and picturesque towns of St Andrews and Cambridge. Every summer we welcome students from over 46 nationalities.  Students choose one academic subject and one elective as well as taking part in a wide selection of evening programs, Sunday workshops and cultural trips.

The role of an ISSOS counselor is very similar to that of a summer camp counselor. You will be responsible for a group of 15 students all of similar age ensuring their experience is fun and safe. Your responsibilities will include being their first point of contact, organising activities and caring for their safety and wellbeing. As a team of counselors you will organize all evening activities which range from sporting activities to creative night and have included talent shows, highland games and improv evenings. Counselors will also run and supervise cultural trips as well as taking responsibility for the overall pastoral care of students.

If you are looking for a rewarding and fun summer job then this is it!

Full room and board provided as well as a fixed payment.

Please note all applicants will have to pass a full criminal background check, be at least 21 years of age and be native English speakers.
