GAP YEAR PROGRAMME
Every year the British Schools Group hosts Gap Year students from the UK to serve as Teacher Assistants. The programme has been extremely popular with parents, staff and the Gap Year students themselves and they are keen to continue the programme in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
ROLE
Support qualified British teachers to deliver core curriculum (literacy and numeracy) and other programs such as P.E. (including swimming), art, computers and music.
THE BRITISH SCHOOL
The school provides education for children aged 2 to 10. Students are drawn from the expatriate and local communities.
The school is one with clear aims, a structured curriculum (English National Curriculum) and high academic standards. The rigors of classroom work are combined with a welcoming and friendly learning environment.
